Umer Sharif dies in Germany

Karachi: Comedy legend Umer Sharif has died in Germany.

The actor and TV host was being shifted to the United States when he was admitted to a hospital in Germany during his travelling in an air ambulance.

The King of Comedy, Pakistan’s illustrious actor #UmarSharif has passed away in Germany. He was suffering from prolonged illness.

Doctors planned to send him to US for treatment once his condition improved.

The Sindh government had arranged the air ambulance for Sharif and announced to bear expenses of his treatment.

Tributes poured in after the news of Umer Sharif’s death surfaced.

The Comedy King is no more💔. Omar Bhai passed away in Germany.He suffered fatal Pneumonia attack when was being carried in an Air Ambulance to USA but his health was so poor that the ambulance had to stay in Germany for his dialysis & treatment
