Video: Lauren Boebert, Quinn Gallagher set aside political differences at ‘Beetlejuice’ show
A video of Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert and a male guest groping each other during the “Beetlejuice” musical in a Denver theater has been watched by millions of people online.
Boebert, a Republican representative for Colorado, and a male guest accompanying her were ejected from the musical on 10 September for vaping, recording video and disturbing other patrons during the Sunday performance.
Lauren Boebert apologized Friday and said “her actions were not meant to be malicious or cause harm “but the reality is they did.”
She was kicked out of the “Beetlejuice” musical last Sunday following complaints from people in the audience that she and another guest were vaping, singing, using phones and causing a disturbance.
Lauren Boebert’s date was identified as Democrat Quinn Gallagher , co-owner of Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen.
Gallagher is also known for hosting LGBTQ+ events, such as a women’s party for Aspen Gay Ski Week and a drag performance called “A Winter Wonderland Burlesque & Drag Show.”
Surprisingly, 36-year-old Boebert is known for denouncing drag shows and everything else associated with the LGBTQ+ community. Her comments have included tweets saying, “Take your children to CHURCH, not drag bars,” and “A North Carolina preschool is using LGBT flag flashcards with a pregnant man to teach kids colors. We went from Reading Rainbow to Randy Rainbow in a few decades, but don’t dare say the Left is grooming our kids!”
