Will Haj 2020 take place? Here’s the answer
Saudi Arabia has cancelled all the international flighst to and from the country due to the coronavirus pandemic, with Muslims around the world speculating about Haj 2020.
Urdu News recently interviewed Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Islamabad who said that the Kingdom has so far not made any decision to cancel the Haj this year.
He, howevr, assured the people that pilgrims would be informed beforehand if any such decision is made.
Meanwhile, senior Pakistani journalist Mujibur Rehman Shami, while speaking on his Dunia News show, said the Haj 2020 is likely to be cancelled and it would not be for the first time that the annual pilgrimage to Makkah would be cancelled.
He said the Haj was cancelled in the past for 40 times due to many reasons.
