Yami Gautam shares Maulana Rumi’s quote as she announces marriage

Indian actress Yami Gautam on Friday took her almost 13 million Instagram followers by surprise when she announced that she has tied the knot with Aditya Dhar, the director of Vicky Kaushal starrer Bollywood movie.

The actress shared a picture wit her groom and wrote a brief note as she sought blessings to start a new life.

Her note began with a quote by Maulana Rumi, a 13th century poet and Islamic scholar, which read, “In your light, I learn to love”.

The caption accompanying Yami’s post read, “With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family.

As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes.Love, Yami and Aditya”.
