ISLAMABAD: NAB on Monday arrested Asif Ali Zardari after the Islamabad High Court dismissed his plea seeking bail in money laundering cases.

A division bench of the court comprising Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Kayani rejected the rejected the pleas both by Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur.

The duo has been getting bail extensions to avert their arrest for the last few months.

The court had extended their bails on On May 30 till June 10.

Private TV channels reported to that a NAB had visited the Parliament House to apprise the NA Speaker Asad Qaiser about the arrest warrants issued for PPP leaders.
