Justyn Vicky, a 33-year-old renowned fitness influencer from Indonesia, met with a devastating accident while working out at a gym in Bali. According to a report by Channel News Asia on July 15, Justyn Vicky lost his life when a barbell he was attempting to lift caused a severe injury to his neck.

The incident, which was captured in a viral video on social media, showed Justyn Vicky performing a squat press with the heavy barbell on his shoulders at Paradise Bali gym. Unfortunately, he encountered difficulty while attempting the squat and couldn’t maintain an upright position. As a result, he fell back into a sitting posture, and the barbell came crashing down onto the back of his neck. Tragically, during the mishap, his spotter also lost balance and fell backward along with him. A spotter is an individual who provides assistance and support during weightlifting exercises.
