Piers Morgan mocks Lionel Messi for celebrating World Cup victory
Piers Morgan attacked Lionel Messi over his Instagram post which the footballer shared to celebrate Argentina’s Football World Cup victory.
Millions of people liked Messi’s photos that he has shared since Monday.
That didn’t go down well with Morgan who used his Twitter account to post a screenshot of Messi’s Instagram profile and wrote, “OK, Lionel.. we get it, you won the World Cup.
You’re slightly over-egging the gloating soufflé now…”
In another tweet Morgan dismissed the media reports that millions of people took to the streets to welcome Argentina’s Football team.
Meanwhile, Messi, who does not use Twitter, has crossed 400 million followers on Instagram.
Elon Musk recently said he would welcome Messi he joins Twitter.
