Shaheen Afridi defends Shahid Afridi over fake statement about Imran Khan

Shaheen Afridi on Sunday defended former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi after a fake statement was attributed to his father-in-law.

In the fake statement circulated online, Afridi said Imran Khan should surrender before police and court arrest.

When hundreds of PTi workers condemned him, the star cricketer released a statement and said he had not issued any such statement about Imran Khan.

Shaheen Shah Afridi later posted the video on his Twitter account and wrote, “I request you all to only think about Pakistan. We should not indulge ourselves into any act which divides us further. Hum Sab ko apni apni fields me positive reh ker Pakistan ka haq Ada kerna hoga. Pakistan Noor hai or Allah pak is Noor Ki Hamesha hifazat farmayain ge, Ameen.”
