Shane Warne’s death: The legend’s ‘goodnight’ proved to be his goodbye to the world

The world of cricket is mourning the death of one of the greatest players the game has ever seen.

Australian leg-spinner Shame Warmer died at the age of 52 of a suspected heart attack.

Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived,” the statement reads.

“The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”

Hours before his death, Warne had expressed grief over the death of cricketer Rod Marsh.

One of his last two post was a picture from Koh Samui, an Island in the Gulf of Thailand.

The cricketer’s caption ‘Goodnight’ proved to his last goodbye to the world.
