Taliban’s General Mubeen threatens Afghanistan cricket team

Kabul: Taliban commander General Mubeen has purportedly threatened the Afghan cricket team would be held accountable for paying tribute to
Afghan flag during their T20 Worl Cup match against Scotland.

Human rights activist Ihtesham Afghan demanded the ICC to protect the Afghanistan cricket team after the warning was issued by the
militant commander.

He said, The Afghan cricket team expressed their love for their national flag and national anthem.
On which Taliban commander General Mubeen threatened the Afghan team and said that they had invaded Afghanistan at gunpoint, so do what we say”.

Afghanistan are due to play their second match World Cup match against Pakistan on Friday.
