Christchurch shooter’s mother says son deserves death penalty
Mother of Brenton Tarrant, the terrorist who killed 50 people at two mosques in Christchurch last Friday, says her son deserves death penalty for his crime.
When she was shown the video of live shooting she said she can’t watch it anymore because “that hurts”.
“So this is the live recording of what Brenton did,” the anchor told her showing his mobile phone to shooter’s mother.
“I don’t think I can watch anymore.That hurts,” she said crying.
When asked what does she think will happen to her son, she said “I know what he deserves”.
“What is that,” the anchor asked.
The mother of Australian terrorist said her son deserves the death penalty for what he has done.
“And that hurts me to say that because he is family.
But for somebody who has taken many lives of other people it is only fair that he deserves the same thing,” she said.
