Hero policeman refuses to let go ex-KP governor’s son who ran over traffic cones
Shamoon Abbasi, the son of former Khyber Paktunkhwa governor and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) veteran Mehtab Abbasi, was caught on camera blatantly violating traffic laws.
A video purportedly shows Shamoon Abbasi running over road cones in order to make a U-turn despite being warned by a traffic constable.
The constable, however, stops him and refuses to let him go. And when the politician’s son tries to scare him away by pushing the accelerator, the defiant policeman climbs on the bonnet.
It was not immediately clear when and where the incident took place but the people could clearly be heard talking in Hindku language meaning that it might have taken place somewhere in Hazara Division, the strong hold of PMLN.
The camera holder who filmed the scene could be heard condemning the conduct of Abbasi.
Authenticity of the video could not be independently confirmed by The Namal.
