Man arrested for impersonating army captain to threaten PTM
The Federal Investigation Agency has arrested a man days after his video went viral on the internet.
The man impersonating an army captain had threatened PTM leadership with consequences, sparking outrage on social media.
Twitter users had demanded army command take action against the man using Pakistan Army’s uniform to hurl threats.
A Karachi-based journalist on Sunday tweeted that the man identified as Imran Ali was taken into custody on May 27.
The journalist also shared what he said a “confessional” video statement” of the man in which he introduced himself as a resident of Shangla, Khyber Paktunkhwa.
