Video: Helicopter flies erratically before fatal crash landing on NYC building

A pilot was killed when he crash-landed his helicopter on a high-rise building in New York City on Monday.

The incident took place in Midtwon Manhattan where firefighters rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire at 787 7th Avenue.

No other casualty was reported from the crash.

Shortly after the crash, videos started making round of a helicopter flying near the East River before the crash. Authorities, however, did not confirm whether the helicopter in the video was involved in the crash.

Other videos shows cloud of smoke billowing from the rooftop of the building with scroes of rescuers and emergency responders at the scene.

Federal Aviation Administration identified the helicopter as Agusta A109E.
