Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max sale on Amazon sparks hilarious reactions in India, Pakistan

A senior Indian journalist on Friday took to Twitter to share a screenshot of an order he had placed on Amazon.

Sachin Kalbag’s order showed he wanted to purchase Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro Max after a “sale” was announced by Amazon, thinking he would be offered some discount.

Amazon didn’t disappoint the Executive Editor of Hindustan Times and reduced the price by a full 1 Indian rupee.

According to the screenshot, the phone priced at Rs1,59,900 was sold at 1,59,899 Indian rupees to the Indian customer.

Sachin’s tweet elicited some hilarious reactions on Twitter as Pakistani and Indian users trolled Amazon and Apple for offering what they called huge discounts that can help people save money.
