Egypt: Video of ‘drug addict’ killing a man leave people horrified

Ismailia: Police are investigating a case of gruesome murder in Egypt’s Suez Canal city of Ismailia.

The horrific video of the murder shows a man beheading his victim with a large knife in a busy street before walking away with the dismembered head.

Onlookers are seen crying and gasping in horror as the man carries the head of his victim.

At the end of the viral clip, people who played silent spectators seemed to summon some courage and run after the murderer.

According to local authorities, the suspect is a drug addict and worked with the victim’s brother at a furniture market.

Motive behind the murder could not be immediately known.
