GDRFA Dubai approval: Procedure for returning

Dubai: Authorities have introduced a new procedure to facilitate the return of residents stranded abroad.

The government on Sunday announced that airports would start receiving residents from Monday 22 June.

Before leaving for Dubai, residents are required to get an approval from Dubai’s General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).

The GDRFA on Tuesday revealed the procedure residents are required to follow and conditions they must adhere to for travelling back.
