Google Doodle marks Earth Day 2019

This year’s Earth Day Google Doodle introduces Internet users to organisms which inhibit the plant.

As the world celebrates the Earth Day on April 22, the internet giant has come up with animated slideshow exploring endangered organisms and offering more information in search to those curious.

2019 Earth Day Google Doodle features Wandering Albatross, a bird with largest wingspan, the Coastal Redwood, the tallest tree in the world, Paedophryne amauenis, the smallest frog and vertebrate, the Amazon Water lily, etc.

The search egines has also shared some of the most searched for questions about wildlife.

Earth Day, which is marked to voice support for environmental protection, started in the US in 1970.

It began as a protest against the impacts of industrcal development on the environment.
