Google unveils Stadia cloud gaming service at Game Developers Conference 2019

San Francisco: Google has launched its Stadia cloud gaming service at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2019 that kicked off in San Francisco today.

While introducing the service, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said it was a platform for everyone and that the Internet giant aims to stream games to all sort of devices.

He was latter joined on stage by Google’s Vice President and General Manager Phil Harrison, who previously served Sony and Microsoft, to fully unveil Stadia.

He said Google is eyeing Youtube and other players who create game clips on the service to amplify its streaming service.

Harrison said Stadia offers instant access to play without downloading or installing games.

The Game Developers Conference 2019 started on March 18 and will continue till March 22.
