Kuwait mosque Azaan goes viral as coronavirus forces people to stay home

Azaan (Muslim calls for prayers) is given to invite people to mosques to offer prayers.

But as coronavirus fear grips the world, some Islamic scholars have supported the idea of urging the people to offer their prayers at homes instead of coming to mosques.

A video of a mosque in Kuwait is going viral over the internet in which Azaan is slightly different from that of usual heard in the Muslim countries.

In the video doing the rounds on social media, people have been asked to “pray in yours homes”.
