Kwasi Kwarteng criticized for ‘inappropriate behavior’ during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral

London: Kwasi Kwarteng, UK’s Chancellor of the Exchequer, has received backlash for what his critics said his inappropriate behavior during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral service.

Multiple people including British solicitor Nazir Afzal shared a video of Kwasi from the funeral service where he is seen smiling.

Sharing the clip on Twitter, Afzal wrote, “I have come late to this Kwasi Kwarteng behaviour at Her Majesty’s funeral but I think it highly troubling both being highly offensive & inappropriate but also because it speaks to character.”

Queen Elizabeth died at the age of 96 and was laid to rest with her husband Prince Philip in St George’s Chapel at the Windsor Castle.

Her son Charles became the King of England after the monarch’s death.
