New UK PM Boris Johnson is great grandson of Turkish Muslim man

London: Boris Johnson has been chosen by Conservative Party to become next prime minister of UK.

The former London mayor will replace Theresa May, who was forced to resign amid a bitter feud over UK’s exit from European Union.

He is an ex-journalist but few people know that his paternal great grandfather was a Turkish man named Ali Kemal.

Kemal was a journalist and politician in the early 1900s.
