No Pakistani soldier, citizen died in Balakot raid: Indian minister
India’s External Affairs Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sushma Swaraj on Thursday said no Pakistani citizen or soldier died in Indian airstrikes in Balakot.
She was addressing women party workers as part of election campaign. The Indian leader , however, claimed that the Indian Air Force in February killed terrorists, without elaborating.
Pakistan military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor took to Twitter and shared a link to the media report carrying Swaraj’s statement.
The ISPR DG wrote, “Finally the truth under ground reality compulsions.
Hopefully, so will be about other false Indian claims ie surgical strike 2016, denial of shooting down of 2 IAF jets by PAF and claim about F16.
Better late than never.”
