Ramzan Kadyrov: Chechen leader, who killed Muslims, joins Putin’s Ukraine war

Karachi: Pakistan’s federal minister Asad Umar on Saturday introduced Ramzan Kadyrov as someone whose admiration for Prime Minister Imran Khan should be seen as an achievement.

Speaking to the media he said that Ramzan flew into Moscow to meet the Pakistani premier during the latter’s visit to Russia.

He said Ramzan praised Imran Khan for using his UNGA speech to speak against the blasphemy of Prophet Muhammad.

Who Is Ramzan Kadyrov?

Imran Khan’s meeting with the Chechen leader must have hurt majority of Chechens because he is known as a butcher who mercilessly killed his Muslim opponents.

Kadyrov is accused of beheading his Chechen brothers and displaying their heads across the country in his efforts to eliminate the independence movement.

He is also known for his views against Muslim scarf and his father Akhmad Kadyrov is remembered by Chechen Muslims as traitor of their cause.

Ramzan Akhmadovich Kadyrov, who is currently serving as the Head of the Chechen Republic, has become a part of Russia’s war against Ukraine and deployed his soldiers to kill Ukrainians.

Kadyrov, an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has said Chechen fighters had been deployed in Ukraine, and he urged Ukrainians to overthrow their government.

In a video posted online on Saturday, Kadyrov boasted that Chechen units had so far suffered no losses and said Russian forces could easily take large Ukrainian cities including the capital, Kyiv, but their task was to avoid loss of life.

He was formerly a member of the Chechen independence movement. He is the son of former Chechen President Akhmad Kadyrov, who was assassinated in May 2004.
