Turkish cyber army hacks 60 Indian websites to show solidarity with Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: A group of Turkish hackers claimed to have attacked multiple Indian websites amid the rising tensions between the two South Asian nations.
“We have hacked 60 Indian websites and will continue to support Pakistan,” a face page named Ayyıldız Tim claimed.
The Facebook post also included links to websites which the group claims to have hacked.
India and Pakistan are engaged in a dramatic confrontation which seemed to bring the two nuclear armed nations bring to brink of war.
In an effort to deescalate the situation, Pakistan has announced to release captured Indian pilot which many saw as a bargaining chip in the confrontation.
“Ayyildiz Tim HACKED in India. Our Indian attack will continue,” the group said on Twitter.
According to the Indian media, the same group was behind the hacking of Twitter account of Indian actor Abhishek Bachchan last year.
