Vladimir Putin wins hearts of Pakistanis as he defends Prophet of Islam

Russian strongman Vladimir Putin won hearts of millions of Pakistanis when he said insulting Prophet Muhammad does not count as freedom of expression.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Maood Qureshi and Human Rights Minister were quick to thank the Russian president for speaking up for Muslims.

Speaking at his annual press conference, Putin said insults to the prophet are a “violation of religious freedom and the violation of the sacred feelings of people who profess Islam.”

Hundreds of Pakistani Muslims praised Putin for stance on freedom of expression.
