Why is Prince Alwaleed bin Khaled bin Talal in coma for 16 years?

Riyadh: Prince Al Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal, known as “The Sleeping Prince, fell into a coma after a car accident in 2005.

His aunt Princess Rima bint Talal recently shared a video of the prince while praying for his recovery.

“My beloved, may God protect you, heal you, and restore you, ” the Princess wrote in Arabic.

The video shared by the princess shows Prince Al Waleed plugged into a life support machine covered with a Saudi flag.

Prince Khaled, the father of the patient says, “Someone asked me, why don’t you unplug the devices from your son? I replied that if it was God’s will for him to die in the accident, then my son would be in his grave.”

Prince Al Waleed is the nephew of Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.
