Youtuber Etika found dead
Desmond Amofah aka Etika has been found dead, NYPD said days after the Youtuber went missing.
He had posted a suicial video last week before disappearing. Etika’s body has been recovered in East River.
The police said Demond Amofah’s body was recovered from the river on Monday night in Lower Manhattan.
His belonging were found nearby on the Manhattan Bridge.
Etika had apologized to his friends and family in the video before disappearing.
“I’m sorry for leaving such a stained legacy,” Amofah said in the video.
“I hope that my story maybe helps to make YouTube a better place in the future where people know boundaries and limits and how far things should go.”
The items recovered by police include Etika’s driver license, wallet, cell phone, Nintendo Switch, laptop bag containing a pair of boxers, a shirt, shorts and headphones and several others cards.
