Who is Muhammad Gohir Khan, the suspect who ‘plotted’ to kill Ahmad Waqass Goraya?
London: Muhammad Gohir Khan, 31-year-old, Pakistani-origin, on Monday was produced before a court in London for his allegedly plotting to kill, Ahmad Waqass Goraya, a political activist in the Netherlands.
According to the BBC, Khan was arrested on 25 June, shortly after he arrived in London on a train from the Netherlands and pleaded not guilty during his court appearance by video link from custody.
Pakistanis are wondering about the identity o the man after news of his arrest was first reported by Pakistani-origin journalists in the United Kingdom.
Little is known about Muhammad Gohir Khan, a resident of Forest Gate in east London. A look at Twitter and Instagram suggests that the suspect has no presence on the popular social media websites.
Ahmad Waqass Goraya, who is followed by more than 70,000 followers on Twitter, has not written anything about the identity of the suspect who allegedly conspired with others unknown to murder him.
