Police requested to register FIR of Aamir Liaquat’s death against K-Electric
Karachi: One of Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s neighbors has filed an application against the K-Electric, holding the power utility responsible for the former MNA’s death.
The man identified as Haji Liaquat submitted an application with the Brigade Police Station for the registration of an FIR against the KE’s officials in Bahadurabad area.
The 55-year-old stated that Aamir Liaquat died of the smoke emitted by his power generator.
The citizen said that the former TV host died after the generator’s smoke filled his room.
He said that KE’s 12-hour long load-shedding spells took Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s life, requesting the police to lodge an FIR against the company’s officials to avoid further loss of life in the future.
