Major Gen (retd) Syed Zafar Mehdi Askari breaks silence on son Hassan Askari’s court martial

Islamabad: Major General (retd) Syed Zafar Mehdi Askari broke his silence on the arrest of his civilian son Hassan Askari for writing letters to military officers over then army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s controversial policies.

The former military officer appeared before the media along with his family at the Islamabad Press Club, two years after his son was arrested and sentenced by a military court.
