Lahore: Former film actress Anjuman has tied the knot with TV personality Mian Waseem Ahmed alias Lucky Ali.

According to reports, the wedding ceremony took place on June 17 and was attended by close family and friends.

People came to know about the marriage when pictures from the ceremony were leaked online.

The couple has now publicly confirmed the news of their wedding. Anjuman said Lucky Ali gifted her a car and house on the wedding.

The 64-year old film actress was previously married to former 21-grade income tax officer who was shot dead in Lahore six years. She has three children from her first marriage.

After the wedding pictures and name of the groom appeared on social media, users mistook Mian Wasim Ahmed alias Lucky Ali for Indian singer, composer and actor Maqsood Ali aka Lucky Ali.

Anjuman’s new husband made headlines in the national media last year when the National Accountability Bureau opened an inquiry against him for cheating the public by luring them into buying plots.

His name appeared on the media in connection with an inquiry against management of National House Building and Road Development Corporation and others regarding cheating the public at large, according to Express Tribune.

Born Maqsood Ali, the 60 year-old is an Indian singer, composer and actor.

He is the son of Bollywood actor Mehmood Ali and Mahelaka, the sister of Indian actress Meena Kumari.

Maqsood Ali aka Lucky Ali was first married to a woman from New Zealand with whom he has two children.

His second wife was Inaya and Lucky Ali married a third time in 2010 to British mode and former beauty queen Kate Elizabeth Hallam.
