Imran Riaz accused of secretly meeting army officer and seeking forgiveness

Islamabad: Anchor and YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan has been accused of holding a secret meeting with a military officer.

According to PTI’s Islamabad-based leader Abdul Samad Yaqoob, the meeting took place on the request of Imran Riaz Khan.

Yaqoob said that during his meeting with a brigadier, Imran Riaz sought forgiveness and offered explanations.

Taking to Twitter, the PTI leader asked the anchor to explain his meeting with the military officer.

Yaqoob was criticized by PTI social media workers for attacking Imran Riaz Khan who is known as a staunch supporter of Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Responding to criticism, he said that he would name the military officer and reveal the location of the meeting if Imran Riaz denies rendezvous.

The YouTuber has been stopped at several Pakistani airports multiple times to foil his attempts to leave Pakistan.
