Manzoor Mengal launches vicious attack on Maulana Tariq Jameel in JUI-F Azadi March

Islamabad: Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has once again come under severe criticism.

The fresh criticism came from a cleric affiliated with Deobandi school of thought, leaving followers of the Tableeghi Jamaat in shock.

The criticism was heard far and wide as it came from right atop the shopping container placed for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azadi March in the federal capital.

مترم منظورمینگل نے مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب کو کتے خنزیر اور گدھے جیسے غلیظ الفاظ سے پکارا اور طارق جمیل صاحب کی نقل اتارتا رہا ۔ساتھ میں کھڑے علماء بھی کنٹینر پر طارق جمیل صاحب کی بےعزتی اور نقل اتارنے پر ہنستے رہیں اور خوش ہوتے رہیں۔پوچھنا یہ تھا کہ کیا مولانا طارق جمیل عالم نہیں ہے ۔جب ہم سیاسی علماء کے حلاف بولتے ہیں تو یہی علماء ہمیں کہتے ہیں کہ علماء انبیاء کے وارث ہیں ان کے حلاف نہ بولوں نہیں تو ایمان چلا جائے گا۔اور ان کیلئے خود سب کچھ جائز ہے مینگل تم اتنےبڑےمجمعےمیں جھوٹ بول کراللہ کےسامنےکیسےجاوگے؟جاھل فضل الرحمن کی وکالت میں کیوں اتنے گر گئے ہو کہ اپنی آخرت بربادکررھےھو؟مولاناسمیع الحق۔غلط مولاناطارق جمیل ۔غلط مفتی طارق مسعود۔غلط مفتی نعیم غلط۔مفتی رفیع عثمانی غلط۔پاکستان علماء کونسل۔غلط۔لیکن اپ کا مترم فضلو ٹھیک ۔امت میں فساد پھیلاکرطارق جمیل صاحب کےکروڑوں فالورزکی دل آزاری کرکےنہ جانےتم کس اسلام کی خدمت کررھےھو؟۔میں مینگل پر نہ صرف لعنت بھیجتا ہوں بلکہ وہی الفاظ جو اس نے مولانا طارق جمیل صاحب کیلئے بیان کئے ہیں میں مترم مینگل کو ۔کتا خنزیر اور خرامی کا اولاد کہتا ہوں اور جتنےبھی اس سے پہلے منگل کے دینی بیان سنیں ہیں اللہ سے اس پر معافی کا طالبگار ہوں ۔

Manzoor Mengal, a firebrand cleric, launched unprecedented attacks on Tariq Jamil who is widely respected by all schools of thought for his message of tolerance and peace.

The cleric resorted to name-calling and mimicker of the Tableehi Jamaat scholar, going as far as to call him a dog.

The reason Mengal attacked Tariq Jamil was the latter’s reluctance to support Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s protest movement and his relationship with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Tariq Jameel has defended the prime minister for his announcements to build a Madina-like state, refusing to cast doubts on his intentions.

According to Maulana Tariq Jameel, Imran Khan is the first prime minister who has spoken of converting Pakistan into a welfare state like early days of Islam.

While Azadi March protesters enjoyed the fiery speech against Jameel and shared it on social media mocking the Tableeghi Jamaat Alim, supporters of Maulana Tariq Jamil has questioned role of Ulema who stood next to Mengal as he attacked fellow scholar.

They have accused Manzoor Mengal of lying and asked whether criticizing only political mulls was a sin.
