Case filed against Fawad Khan for “refusing” anti-polio drops to daughter”

LAHORE: The local administration has registered a case against actor Fawad Khan for not allowing polio vaccination to administer anti-polio  vaccine to his daughter.

The actor, however has denied the charge saying “nothing could be further the truth”.

Five other people have also been booked on the same charges, according to Geo TV.

The case against Fawad Khan has been filed at   Town Police station.

District Administration is reported to have registered four cases in Faisal Town and two in Model Town.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Saleha Saeed said the health officials spent  whole day trying to vaccinate Fawad Khan’s daughter but his wife didn’t permit the team.

She said the case has been registered against head of the family.

Later on, Prime Minister Imran Khan Focal Person on Polio said in a Tweet the polio team wanted to administer the vaccine but the actors’ driver and then his family misbehaved with the health workers.
