What happened to Kourtney Kardashian’s baby?

Kourtney Kardashian on Wednesday shared the details of the medical emergency which recently forced her husband Travis Barker to stop his tour.

The reality TV show star took to social media to reveal that she underwent a fetal surgery to save her unborn baby boy.

According to medical experts, “Fetal surgery is a procedure performed on an unborn baby (fetus) in the uterus (in utero) to help improve the long-term outcome of children with specific birth defects. Because these defects often worsen as a fetus develops, fetal surgery done by a team of experts focuses on treating and improving the conditions before birth.”

Kourtney thanked the doctors who performed the complex surgery and her husband to be by her side.

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery,” Kardashian wrote in the Instagram post. “I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear.”

Almost three million people including many celebrities reacted to her Instagram post within a couple of hours after she shared her picture with a statement.
