Ramadan Mubarak, says DC Comics to Muslim fans

DC Comics, the official home of Batman, superman and Wonder Woman, has wished Muslims fans a happy and peaceful Ramadan as the holy month began on Monday.

The official social media accounts of America’s one of the largest comic book publishers posted Happy Ramadan message with caption “Ramadan Mubarak! Wishing you a peaceful and Happy Ramadan.

During Ramadan, Muslims around the world abstain from eating, drinking, smoking and having sex from dawn to dusk.

The month is sacred to Muslims because it marks the period when the Holy Quran was revealed to the Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him).
