9th and 10th Muharram 2022 dates in Pakistan

The first of Muharram, the Islamic calendar ‘s first month, would be on July 31.

The Central Ruet-Hilal Committee on Friday said Muharram moon could not be sighted in any part of the country.

According to the committee, 9th and 10th Muharram holidays would fall on August 8th and August 9th respectively.

Muslim marks Youm-e-Ashura on the 10th of Muharram.

The Ashura is observed to mark the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) and his companions.
