Afghan Taliban copying Pakistan Army’s motto and slogans?

Kabul: Fawad Lameh,an Afghan journalist associated with the Voice of America, on Thursday claimed that the Taliban are using the exact words of Pakistan Army as their motto.

Lameh, who was previously affiliated with Tolo News, said that the Taliban are using “Faith, Piety and Jihad” as their motto which is the motto of the Pakistan Army.

He said the Afghan National Army that was vanquished by the Taliban used “God, Homeland and Duty” as its motto.

The journalist also posted a picture of a billboard inscribed with the Afghan Taliban’s motto and a separate picture of the Pakistan Army’s monogram which carry the same words.
