Army officer Lt.Col Laeeq abducted from Balochistan

Quetta: A Pakistan Army officer has been abducted from Balochistan.

According to reports, Lieutenant Colonel Laeeq, was abducted on July 12 near Ziarat.

His car was intercepted by unknown gunmen and his family was reportedly let go off.

Sources said that a search operation was underway to recover the military officer.

No official statement has been issued by the Pakistan Army regarding the abduction of Lt.Col Laeeq.

A Pakistani journalist said that the officer was working in DHA Quetta.

The information could not be confirmed by official sources.
