Atif Mian tells how to change Pakistan’s economic trajectory
Islamabad: The Atlantic Council’s South Asia Center recently hosted a conversation on Pakistan’s economy and prospects for growth in the short- and long-term with Princeton Professor Atif Mian.
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government asked Atif Mian to step down from the Prime Minister -led Economic Advisory Council (EAC) in September 2018.
His appointment of was part of Khan’s efforts to steer the country out of economic crisis but a large number of people his inclusion over his faith.

Imran Rasul, Professor of Economics at University College London had also resigned from the body in protest over government’s decision to remove Atif Mian from EAC.
