Azad Kashmir: Brigadier Naeem dismissed by army chief

Muzaffarabad: Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has reportedly dismissed Brigadier Naeem for misuse of powers ahead of elections 2021 in Azad Kashmir .

According to Jammu Kashmir, a leading Urdu language newspaper in Azad Kashmir, the officer of the intelligence agency was accused of backing some influential businessmen and helping construction companies make profits.

It said Brigadier Naeem was also accused of meddling in the politics of Azad Kashmir. The newspaper reported that Brigadier Nadeem has replaced Brigadier Naeem as new sector commander.
