London: Boris Johnson has become Prime Minister of UK after he was chosen by Conservative Party to succeed Theresa May.

The former London mayor is an ex-journalist but few people know that his paternal great grandfather was a Turkish Muslim man named Ali Kemal.

He also had a special connection with Pakistan.

The British prime minister was married to Marina Wheeler who originated from Pakistan’s Sargodha.

The couple filed for divorce last year after 22 years together.
