Eid-ul-Fitr 2023: Why there are no chances of moon-sighting on Thursday, 20 April
Chances of Eid moon-sighting in Pakistan are less than 10 percent on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
According to experts, the birth of crescent is expected to take place at 9:23 AM on Thursday.
They said that it won’t be possible to sight the moon even with the use of modern equipment and technology.
The experts are of the view that Muslims in Pakistan and several other Muslim countries including Saudi Arabia are expected to observe 30 days of Ramazan this year.
They said Eid-ul-Fitr is most likely to be celebrated on Saturday, April 22.
