Humayun Saeed: The govt should help in making a drama like ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’

When the Turkish drama “Ertugrul Ghazi” aired on Pakistan Television (PTV) in April this year, playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar announced in May that he too was working on a plan similar to the Turkish drama.

It was thought that Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar was going to make a historical drama with actor Humayun Saeed.

Humayun Saeed later confirmed on May 14 that he and Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar were going to make a historical drama.

Humayun Saeed said that he had seen ‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ two years ago and at that time he thought it necessary to make such a historical drama.

According to Humayun Saeed, now that the drama is being aired on PTV and is proving to be a success.

Humayun Saeed had said that Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar would write the script of the play while ARY owner Salman Iqbal would produce it.
