Journalists claim Uzma Kardar got audio call leaked

Islamabad: Two journalists who are considered staunch opponents of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government have claimed that an audio call of a ruling party leader got leaked.

Anchor Mansoor Ali Khan on Sunday said on Twitter ,”An audio call recording of someone from the present government could surface very soon and become very embarrassing for the PTI government. Further details soon”.

Before Masoor could have provided further details Nausheen Yusuf, a Islamabad-based reporter, took to Twitter wondering about a leaked call on YouTube. She said the purported call was of PTI leader Uzma Kardar.

In Noausheen’s Twitter replies a user posted an audio conversation in which a woman is heard discussing Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Begum’s role in government affairs.

Authenticity of the claims could not be independently verified.
