Justin Trudeau avoids calling Hamas a terrorist group in latest statement

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sought to tone down the retoric in his latest statement issued after the release of two American hostages by Hamas.

Trudeau thanked Qatar for facilitating the release of the two hostages who were captured during Hamas attack on Israel earlier this month.

The prime minister avoided calling Hamas a terrorist group in his statement as he mentioned the militant organization twice.
