Karachi weather update: Friday 09-06-2023

Karachi: Hot and humid weather will continue in Karachi on Friday, with maximum temperature touching 37 degrees Celsius, according to the Pakiatan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The ratio of humidity is expected to remain between 55 to 65 percent in the city.

The extremely hot weather conditions in the city are due to cyclonic activity in the Arabian Sea as a cyclone is developing some 1100 kilometers from Karachi.

Meanwhile, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm (with isolated hailstorm) is likely in Northeast and South Punjab, Islamabad, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Balochistan, Upper Sindh and Kashmir.
