Karachi weather update: light rain, drizzle expected

Karachi: light rain and drizzle is expected in Karachi as trough over northeast Sindh has merged with low over Balochistan, said Met Office in a statement.

Light rain with isolated thunderstorm expected in Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Dadu, Shikarpur and Qambar Shahdadkot Ghotki & Kashmore districts, while light rain/drizzle is likely to occur in Karachi, Thatta, Sujawal and Badin districts.

However, persistent Rainy spell over Khuzdar, Lasbella and other northeastern districts of Balochistan and along Kirthar Range may create pressure on Hub Dam and flash flooding in Dadu, Qambar Shahdadkot districts downstreams.
