Karachi weather update: rain likey today

Karachi: Parts of the city received drizzle and light rain in the wee hours of Saturday.

According to weather forecasts, Karachi is expected to receive rain during the day or evening under the fresh monsoon system coming from India.

PakWeather.com reported that monsoon currents of Buraq system have reached lower Sindh.

“Heavy rainfall is being reported from Badin while moderate rain is currently occuring in Hyderabad,” it said.

PakWeather predicted that there are about 45% chances that rain would reach Karachi by late night or early morning.
